The Eye Center at Southern College of Optometry

The primary goal of the Primary Care Optometry, with Emphasis in Family Practice Optometry and Ocular Disease/CBU: 2 Year Combined Residency is to prepare the successful resident to provide the highest caliber of care and be qualified to serve the profession as a leader in patient care and education. The opportunities to develop advanced clinical abilities through an intensive academic and clinical curriculum unique to a campus-based program are highlighted in this 2 year post-doctorate program.

Situated at the corner of three states on the banks of the Mississippi River, Memphis features a wide demographical cross-section that enables the clinical program to deliver direct patient care to a diverse patient population.

Resident will have 2 years in which to complete all Optometry Residency requirements contained within the Program Description.
