Tech Support

SCO uses state-of-the-art technology in support of optometric education.

SCO’s Information Services Department oversees all the technology used in the classroom as well as providing technology support for email, phones and other services.

  • Our Moodle instructional technology allows our faculty and students to interact with assignments, grade postings and other important information.
  • Panopto allows classroom lectures to be recorded and played back online. Students may follow note presentations or revisit certain portions of the lecture for their convenience.
  • IRIS serves as the college’s intranet with quick links to a number of vital services and important documents. 
  • ExamSoft assists in the administration and grading of exams and quizzes.
