Memphis’s meteorological milieu of late has been fairly consistent: cold, windy, and wet.
Ironically, this may mirror the mindset of many an optometry student during March! This month is much more massive than the others for just about everyone, it seems.
Third years have Part I of boards, second years have our second round of tests starting very soon, while the Pre-Clinical Checkouts loom large on the horizon. First years too have their busy schedules, of course. As a consequence of all of this, many thunderstorms of thought and flurries of frenetic studying are in the forecast. There is most definitely a 100% chance of test tornadoes, along with scattered quiz showers. It’s going to hail practicals.
But fear not, my colleagues! The arrival of March also heralds the coming of Spring, a most splendid season of new growth! May all the educational precipitation from this month plant forests of knowledge in your head. The sun will come out again – just put on the rain gear of your choice and spring forward!
Spring is coming!
