Emma's Birthday Party

On Wednesday, the SCO activity center was the site of Emma Ivie's 5th birthday party. Emma is the daughter of SCO resident Jared Ivie. She was diagnosed with cancer 2 years ago and has been courageously fighting it since. The school threw a Princess party for her. The activity center was decorated like a castle and there were plenty of games and goodies for all invited. The Pressure is Building

As I looked over my calendar earlier today, I realized the pressure is building as this semester draws towards its end. Standing between me and the end of this semester are 3 tests, 2 practicals, several quizzes, and the grand finale of 6 final exams (all in one week might I add). Senior Send Off

This weekend is the senior send off party. Every year before heading to externships the future senior class gets together for a fun evening including dinner, dancing, and a slide show. I am definitely looking forward to it. The Student Government Officers have worked very hard on the slide show. It is filled with pictures of our time together at SCO. Busy April

No tests this week!! Life after boards is great....I feel so free! April is still a very busy month. It's the last month that our entire class is together before we start externs, so there are lots of events planned. It is also our last month of classes, which is a crazy concept. SVOSH Preparations

We are only one month away from our SVOSH trips! My group is travelling to Mazatlan, Mexico. Other groups are visiting Belarus, Jamaica, Peru, Columbia, and Belize. After months of volunteering, sorting glasses, and raising money, everything is finally coming together for our trip.
