Good to be Home

I am writing this post from sunny California. We traveled here the day after finals ended. The trip has been very enjoyable and relaxing so far. It is always great to spend time with family and friends. I am grateful for the break from school. I know that this next semester will be an important one in terms of preparing to enter the clinic (scary thought). I'm hoping to store up some relaxation for the days ahead. Merry Christmas! Home for the holidays

It's been very nice to be at home! I've spent the past few days finishing up Christmas shopping, making holiday cookies, and enjoying time with family. It's crazy to think I only have one semester left of classes. Looking back at the Fall semester, things seem to be coming together. Vacation Time

I'm finally done! I started my break on Wednesday afternoon, and it has been wonderful so far! As I reflect back on the semester, I must say I've learned a great deal of things about optometry! This semster gave me a great starting foundation, and I know things will get even better as time goes on. The professors were good, and they truly cared about us learning. Leaving for Jamaica Tomorrow

Well, finals ended on Wednesday and I am officially on break! These past few days I have just been getting things together for my Honeymoon. I got married in May and had class and clinic, so we had to postpone our trip. At first we were bummed about not going right after the wedding, but looking back we are happy because it gave us time to get our apartment unpacked and now we get to go to the beach while our families are freezing back home! Finals are over!!!!

Took my last final this morning at 8 am! My concentration and motivation were coming to an all time low yesterday. It's hard to keep the endurance up after a week of finals, but I'm happy to say I made it through. Our hardest final was actually yesterday in Integrative Analysis.
