Hopping Receives Honorary Degree

American Optometric Association President Dr. Ronald L. Hopping received an honorary Doctor of Ocular Science degree from Southern College of Optometry at the college's 2013 commencement ceremony. SCO Hosts 2013 Commencement Ceremony

  This year’s commencement ceremony saw 123 new graduates enter the profession of optometry on Friday, May 17, 2013. Class President Zophia Rendon delivered the class address. Dr. Ronald L. Awards Banquet Honors 2013 Graduates

Southern College of Optometry’s 28th Annual Student Awards Banquet honored academic and clinical achievement by members of the Class of 2013 in a ceremony held the night before commencement. Class President Zophia Rendon signed the agreement at the start of the ceremony to establish the Class of 2013 scholarship. Dr. Carrie Lebowitz was emcee for the evening.
