The Arkansas Optometric Association recently named Hayden Sowers, '11, the recipient of the 2010 Dr. William H. Townsend Scholarship. Sowers received a $1,500 scholarship for his academic achievements. A resident of Clinton, Arkansas, Sowers is the son of Ken and Darlene Sowers of Shirley, Arkansas.
