Dr. Laura Knapp, a New Jersey native, has been in the field of optometry for over 15 years having started her career as a vision therapist. After receiving her bachelor’s degree in Biology from Rowan University, Dr. Knapp continued her education at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University, earning a Doctorate of Optometry with Clinical Honors.
Dr. Knapp’s passion is to help both children and adults with eye coordination difficulties. Having extensive training allows for her to specialize in the treatment of these patients while simultaneously pursuing a special interest in learning related vision disorders.
Dr. Knapp is a member of the College of Optometrists in Vision Development, the American Optometric Association, and the New Jersey Society of Optometric Physicians.
Dr. Knapp currently serves as a supervisor for the Residency in Vision Rehabilitation, with Emphasis in Pediatric Optometry at Family Eyecare Associates.
