Our Clinics

Thousands of patients annually visit Southern College of Optometry’s Clinical Programs for their eye health and vision care. Hundreds of interns and residents receive training each year in these outstanding facilities open to patients from the general public by appointment.

SCO’s Clinical Program facilities include:

  • The Eye Center; located on the SCO campus, opened in 2002 and serves as one of the city’s leading patient care resources in the heart of the Memphis Medical District.
  • FocalPoint at Crosstown Concourse; located on the second floor off the central (main) atrium of Crosstown Concourse, this facility opened in 2017 and features The Eyewear Salon of Memphis, personalized technology options, and a dry eye treatment center.
  • University Eye Care of SCO; located on the University of Memphis campus, is also open to the public but primarily serves U of M students, faculty, and staff.
  • SCO additionally operates External Clinical Services that provide care to nearly 20,000 patients each year through the MobilEYES Community Vision Program, a Nursing Home/Assisted Living Program, and the School Screening Program.

Optometric physicians, also known as optometrists, provide 70% of primary eye care in the United States. SCO’s clinics accept all major insurance. Visit our clinics’ websites to learn more about what each of these outstanding facilities offers to our patients.
