She was the instructor of record for OPT 334 "Special Topics in Contemporary Eyecare" for 8 years and serves as clinical faculty in The Eye Center in Adult Primary Care Services. She also provides clinical instruction and patient care in area nursing homes and assisted living facilities as part of SCO's external clinical curriculum. Her professional interests include glaucoma management, diabetic and hypertensive retinopathy, and surgical co-management. Dr. Kerr is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Tennessee Association of Optometric Physicians, and the West Tennessee Optometric Physician Society.
