Dr. Elkins is also the faculty advisor for the SCO Virginia and North Carolina students' clubs. Dr. Elkins is an active member of the Tennessee Association of Optometric Physicians, American Optometric Association, American Academy of Optometry, and the West Tennessee Optometric Physicians Society.
