Collections
Reserves
The library maintains a collection of high use or faculty requested items at the circulation desk. These include textbooks, anatomical models, and resources for the completion of assignments. All reserve items must be used in the library unless otherwise specified by a faculty member.
Reference
A reference collection for in-library use is shelved on the front of the monograph stacks.
Newspapers
The library subscribes to three daily newspaper in print: The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, and The Commercial Appeal.
Professional Practice Collection
This is a collection of monographs requested by the Professional Practice Club and located on the front of the monograph stacks.
New books
Recently acquired books are shelved on the front of the monograph stacks. These may not be newly published, but are new to our collection.
Community Collection
The popular fiction/nonfiction items on the bookshelves on the northwest wall of the library are available to borrow or take without checking them out. Most of the items were provided via donations from faculty, staff, and students.
Library Services
Charging Station
The library supplies wireless and corded chargers for most devices, including AirPods, AppleWatches, iPhones, and Androids, which are available at the circulation desk. You may safely leave your devices to charge at the desk since it is staffed during all library opening hours. As a courtesy to others, please remember to turn all ringers and notifications off when charging.
Copier and Digitization Kiosk
There is one networked copier/scanner and a non-networked digitization kiosk in the library. The digitization kiosk will allow you to digitize 2-D and 3-D items and email or save the files to a portable drive. There are instructions for faxing, networking personal devices & badges, and specialized printing at the circulation desk.
Study Rooms
There are three study rooms in the library for use. These rooms are not soundproof, so please remain quiet while utilizing the study rooms.
Public Access Computers
There are 8 touch-screen computers available for anyone to use in the library.
iPad
The library has one iPad for use in the library to provide access to the iBooks in our collection.
Library Instruction
Individual or group instruction on library resources is available by appointment or on a walk-in basis when librarians are present.

You may request assistance with a literature or resource search by emailing [email protected]
Interlibrary Loan
If you need items that are not available in our library, please email [email protected] and supply all the essential information needed to locate the material in another library (e.g. title, author, page numbers, etc.).
Please allow about two weeks for this service, although journal articles may be delivered the same day by lending libraries that use e-mail delivery. Since we are dependent upon other libraries to supply the resources, we cannot predict fulfillment timelines.
Other Amenities
The library has paperclips, staplers, staple removers, tape, scissors, hole punchers, and a paper cutter available for student use.
