SCO Participates in Live Local Effort - Employees Eligible for Purchase & Rental Programs
As a member of the Memphis Medical District Collaborative (MMDC), SCO is one of several organizations participating in the Live Local effort. SCO's involvement means that employees may be eligible for up to $2,000 toward a new apartment lease and up to $15,000 for a home purchase in centrally located neighborhoods in and around the Medical District.
To be eligible, SCO employees must be full time, having a .75 FTE or greater, and must be in good standing.
To receive the purchase incentive, an individual would also have to be employed with SCO for at least 1year. Students are not eligible to participate in the program.

Meanwhile, 2016 numbers show that the MMDC launched and supported 18 events, made improvements to eight public spaces and assisted in the launch of five new businesses, with Live Local 901 being the newest initiative in the first year of the organization's work.
