The Human Resources Department Mission Statement:
Supporting those who educate and serve the students of SCO.
To be the best Human Resources Department possible requires a commitment on the part of HR staff to work together as a team, fully devoted to our pledge to provide quality personnel services. We believe our Department purpose and philosophy is best achieved through:
Service and Products
Our support services and products must be of superior quality - the very best we can provide. We refuse to offer a product or service in which we do not believe and cannot take personal pride.
Faculty and Staff

In all of our dealings we will be honest, truthful, and strive to support the best interest of our customers and Southern College of Optometry. We are committed to a user-friendly office. We enthusiastically support the mission of our customers and seek only to enhance their effectiveness.
Our Human Resources team accepts as its mission a commitment to excellence, a proactive face-to-face philosophy of communications intervention, elimination of unnecessary bureaucratic obstacles, a commitment to same day response to all inquiries, and an uncompromising commitment to principles that protect the integrity of Southern College of Optometry Human Resources policies and practices.
