A Pre-Optometry Summer Program for Underrepresented Minority Students

Eye on Success is a program that exposes underrepresented minority undergraduate students to a career in optometry through panels, Q&As and immersive activities. If you or someone you know is a student either interested in pursuing optometry or curious to learn more, then be sure to apply for this event! This year, Eye on Success will be in person.

Eye on Success is open to prospective optometry students who meet the following criteria:

  • Underrepresented Minority (this includes First Generation College students)

  • Minimum 3.0 GPA

  • Currently Enrolled in Undergraduate, Post-Baccalaureate or Graduate Program, or in a gap year

 

Dates:  June 6-8, 2023

Attendees will receive the following:

  • $500 travel stipend, if applicable
  • Free housing
  • Most meals paid
