Dr. Glen Steele, SCO Professor, recently helped accept an award for InfantSEE®, the American Optometric Association's public health program that facilitates no cost vision assessments for infants from optometrists.
InfantSEE® received the Outstanding Scientific Project Award from the Vision Care Section at the American Public Health Association meeting in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Joining Dr. Steele in accepting the award were Mark Schwartz, Program Manager of the InfantSEE® program, Dr. Pam Lowe, and Shannon Torbett, Director of Optometry's Charity -the AOA Foundation.
Dr. Steele, who serves as Chief of Pediatric Primary Care at The Eye Center at Southern College of Optometry, is currently serving as Chair of the InfantSEE® Committee for the American Optometric Association.
