Today is a big event at SCO for prospective students called Discover Optometry, which is held every 2 years. Around 160 prospective students will be attending this year. The day consists of a tour of SCO, a student and OD panel, financial aid/admissions info, slit lamp demonstrations, and of course BBQ for dinner!
Now that boards are over, I finally have time to do things I've been putting off for a while. As summer externships are only 6 weeks away, I've been looking into housing options this week. It's so nice to not have the pressure to study every night anymore. I can definitely get used to this more normal lifestyle!
Third years have an exam on Monday in Public Health, but it's only on 4 lectures. Compared to boards studying, this finite amount of material seems like no big deal. Looking forward to a relaxing weekend and hopefully some warmer weather!
