SCO hosted "Discover Optometry" this past weekend. Discover Optometry is an opportunity for prospective students to visit campus and learn more about the profession. We had around 150 people show up and it seemed to be a huge success. I had about 16 students/parents in my tour group and they all were from Tennessee, however we had people travel here from all over.
My sister and her husband came to visit this weekend, so after Discover Optometry I met them at dinner. Saturday night we went to Tunica and lets just say I didn't leave a winner. My wife however won some money, so I guess next time I should just let her do the gambling.
We had an exam today and don't have anything else the rest of the week besides class and clinic. So this week should be pretty laid back especially with the great weather we're supposed to have.
