This week marks the last week of classes for the third year class here at SCO. Next week we have finals. I can't believe how fast these past 3 years have gone. From what I hear, forth year is the best because as an extern we see patients all day every day with no classes in between. I can't wait!
This past week my wife and I had the opportunity to go to the beach with her family. Her sister has breast cancer and just completed her final chemo session, so this was a "celebration" trip. I have Fridays off from clinic and I took Thursday off, so we were able to leave Wednesday. We had a blast and didn't want to leave, but we had to get back on Saturday for my senior sendoff. The senior sendoff is a dinner SGA hosts for the third year class right before we leave for externs. It is typically the last time we are all together before graduation. There was great food, dancing, a slide show with pictures from our three years here at school and they handed out superlatives. Everyone seemed to have a great time and didn't want to leave.
