Just ended finals this morning, and I have been running around town all day preparing for the drive north tomorrow morning and a 14 hour flight the following morning. I have to make it to Michigan, so I don't miss my early flight to Hong Kong on Friday morning. I was hoping for a little rest and relaxation after exams, but I think that will only happen on the plane and car ride north (when it's not my turn to drive).
My family decided to go visit my older sister, who is living and working in Hong Kong, so we're off! Also stopping in Indonesia, Singapore and Bali to see more family and friends. Should be a great trip, but exhausting. I'm so glad that finals are finally over that I think I will sleep and read the entire time on the plane. One of my stops today was at the Library's used book store on Poplar, where I found four books for a very reasonable price. I think that is my new favorite place to spend time and money in Memphis.
Leaving early tomorrow morning, so I am all packed up and put my passport in a safe place. Going out for some delicious catfish tacos and banana pudding at the Flying Fish before leaving Memphis and its' unique cuisine for three weeks. I hope everyone travels home safely and has an enjoyable Christmas and New Years! Take Care.
