Well, I'm one semester closer to reaching my ultimate career goal!! It feels so great to be done with another successful semester. As I look back over past semesters, especially my first semester, I see the improvements and progress I've made. I had a rough start my first semester, but things got better as time went on! This semester, I especially enjoyed the few patient encounters I had in central testing, observations, and school screenings. School screenings were not as bad as I expected them to be. My most memorable one was the screening on 3-year olds that we did. This was a heavy task because it is not easy to get 3-year olds to focus or cooperate long enough to get the information you need. However, it was still a great learning experience. Overall, this semester went well for me and I'm thankful to have completed it successfully.
Now, I'm enjoying my break with family and friends! I plan to enjoy doing absolutely NOTHING-no studying, tests, school related readings, etc. I'm going to relax and enjoy this time off so that I'll be ready to hit the ground running next semester.
