The end of class this morning was the official beginning to my spring break! Although I'm free from classes and clinic assignments for a week, I'm not free from studying. Part 1 of National Boards is quickly approaching, and I've got some major studying and reviewing to do. However, I plan to still enjoy my break by studying most of the day, and relaxing during the evenings. Studying for boards, thus far has not been as stressful as I expected, but I'm still worried about knowing all of the material before the test. I've been sticking to my study calendar, with the exception of a few missed days of studying. I will say some days I don't study as long as I need to, but I do get in at least a couple hours. I still have a long way to go though, but this break will help me to cover a lot of ground. I'm trying to stay optimistic, but who knows how I'll feel as the time gets closer and closer. I'll continue to hope for the best and prepare for the worst.
Aside from studying, I'll also be doing some wedding stuff during my break. I'm getting more and more excited as the date gets closer. My bridal shower planning is going well thanks to my maid and matron of honor. They're doing a great job!! So you see, although I have boards to worry about, my upcoming wedding and all the planning is giving me some excitement to help keep me grounded. The mixture is doing me good during this important time in my educational journey!
