After four quick years at Ursinus College, I officially earned my Bachelor of Science degree! It’s hard to believe that exactly one year ago today I was sitting for my OAT and starting the application process. I have to give my biggest thanks to Sunnie Ewing and Mike Robertson for answering all of my questions through out the entire application and interview process. This year has gone by so quickly. My senior year has comprised everything from OATs and applications to rugby and a torn ACL to service activities and last balls and formals. I can’t wait to see what this upcoming year will bring!
Only three months until I make my journey down to Memphis! Through the extremely helpful housing fair, I was able to find an awesome apartment on Mud Island and a roommate (another north-easterner and NYG fan coincidentally). Since we both will be traveling 18+ hours to get to Memphis, we are currently figuring out the better option between moving our own furniture down in a U-Haul or renting furniture down there. I’ll be sure to let you know of our decision as soon as we make it for any other potential students from far outside the Memphis area. My class also has a chatty Facebook group where we are talking about everything from apartments to sports to running in the Memphis Color Run. I’m sure the talking will only pick up in the weeks leading up to orientation. With all this talk on Facebook, I wonder how our parents survived in the days before the internet!
Sunnie has also posted about SCO Class of 2012 commencement on our page. It gives us a great look into where we will be four years from now. A big congratulations to the class of 2012; I’m sure you all have worked hard to get to where you are today!
I hope everyone has a great summer. See you all in Memphis!
