
Southern College of Optometry, in partnership with Appelbaum Eye Care Associates in Bethesda and Annnapolis, Maryland, is pleased to launch a new residency program: Residency in Vision Rehabilitation, with Emphasis in Vision Therapy and Vision Rehabilitation and Pediatric Optometry.
In addition to obtaining advanced clinical competence, the resident will gain first-hand experience in the day-to-day operation of a successful optometric private practice that emphasizes vision therapy.
Founded by Dr. Stan Appelbaum in 1977, Appelbaum Eye Care Associates offers a full range of family vision care services, specializing in the treatment of children and adults with behavioral, sensorimotor and learning-related vision problems, including patients previously diagnosed with ADD-ADHD, dyslexia, and/or avoidance of reading.
