Cockrell Named Chairman of the Health Care Alliance for Patient Safety

SCO Board of Trustees member David A. Cockrell, OD '81, has been named the new chair of The Health Care Alliance for Patient Safety (APS). Dr. Cockrell, a practicing optometrist in Stillwater, Okla., is a past president of the American Optometric Association, American Board of Optometry, Oklahoma State Board of Optometric Examiners and the Oklahoma Association of Optometric Physicians.
