Clinical Experience

  • high quality experience in hospital-based primary eye care

  • providing comprehensive care for veterans, who tend to have a higher incidence of disease

  • more than 21,000 Eye Clinic appointments yearly

  • experience working with providers from multiple disciplines

  • weekly case conferences and lecture presentations

  • on-site free housing and meals available (with approval)

  • Ocular Disease

    • diabetic care and other vascular occlusive diseases

    • age-related macular degeneration

    • glaucoma management

    • cataract surgeries

    • ocular manifestations of various systemic diseases

      • high level of experience with posterior segment disease

      • on-site imaging & laboratory
