Residency Highlights
- Full scope primary eye care with emphasis in ocular disease and practice management.
- Utilizes a vision and Medical Eye Care Team Model with O.D. (Residency Trained) as Primary Eye Care Physician and M.D. (Fellowship Trained) as Surgical Sub Specialist.

Patient demographics include all ages with variable ethnicity to include mentally and physically challenged.

Vision examination including all specialty contact lens fitting, low vision, and refractive surgery evaluations.

Medical examinations for all eye disease including cataract, cornea, glaucoma, neuro, oculo, and retina as well as extensive postoperative care.

Advance diagnostic procedures using state of the art technology including physical diagnosis, laboratory/radiological testing as well as examination under sedation.

Treatment using all forms of medications (topical, oral, injectable) as well as minor surgical procedures.

Extensive practice management experience including administration and finance, coding and reimbursement, and staffing with career development.

Base annual compensation at $32,400 for 54 weeks.

Professional allowance of $500 for continuing education, dues, and subscriptions.

Bonus pay of $500 is allotted if resident is selected to present a paper or poster at a national optometry or ophthalmology meeting.

Annual time away from practice consists of one week for vacation, one week for continuing education, and one week for sick leave.
- Clothing allowance of $150 per year and cell phone are provided
