Sixth
Annual Eye 5k Run
Memphis, Tennessee (September 14, 2007) – Runners can race
for a good cause on Saturday, September 22nd when Southern College
of Optometry students host the Sixth Annual Eye 5k race at 5:30 p.m. in midtown
Memphis.
The $20 registration fee will
support Student Volunteers in Optometric Service to Humanity (SVOSH) and the
organization’s mission trips to provide critically needed eye care to
impoverished residents of Latin and
Run for fun or prizes in a number of
categories across all age groups, from kids to over 60. The course will travel
through the historic Central Gardens Historic District. Food, live music,
