About VISIONET

The SCO library is home to VISONET, a highly-regarded comprehensive database of optometric literature. The database is produced by staff at the SCO library, and is used internationally. VISIONET utilizes the entire journal collection of the SCO library and also serves as an online catalog for the library's book, audio, video and slide collections.

VISIONET services include literature searches and photocopying of articles, as well as a current awareness program with weekly, monthly or quarterly mailings upon request. Practitioners, students, faculty, researchers and manufacturers may use information from these journals to help promote optimum patient care.

Literature searches may be requested by mail, phone, or fax. Most searches are run within 24 hours and the costs are very reasonable.
