SCO’s library occupies the entire fifth floor of the tower on campus. Offering visual science and related materials, the library also offers a microfilm collection of doctoral dissertations related to visual science and video resources used as supplements to course lectures and laboratories.
The library produces VISIONET, a computerized database, consisting of a highly regarded index of optometric and vision-related journal literature. Literature searches from this database are free for SCO students, faculty and staff.
The library is launching upgrades to improve the technological resources utilized by 21st century students. Students, faculty and alumni alike can benefit from the expertise of SCO’s professional library staff.
