Friday's SECO Update

Even with the threat of 1-3 inches of snow in Atlanta, SECO 2010 is off to a great start. SCO's booth, #617, has attracted many alumni and friends of the college. For many SCO graduates, SECO is the next best thing to a class reunion, with old classmates reconnecting. In fact, SCO's theme this year encourages alumni to "Rediscover and Reconnect" with their alma mater. Alumni and friends of the college are encouraged to visit with SCO representatives at SECO 2010 in Atlanta. Members of the Institutional Advancement team, the faculty and administration, as well as Alumni Council members, will be in SCO's booth, #617. Greenberg to Lead Optometry's Charity

Martha Rosemore Greenberg, OD '74 , has been elected board president of Optometry's Charity - The AOA Foundation. She first joined the AOA Foundation board in 2008. Dr. Greenberg is a former Chair of SCO's Board of Trustees. In 2006, she received SCO's Lifetime Achievement Award, the highest honor bestowed upon alumni by the college. Join Us at Heart of America

Alumni and friends from the Heartland states are invited to visit with Dr. Jim Newman, SCO Professor, at the 49th annual Heart of America Congress in Kansas City. Dr. Newman will be representing SCO this year. Make plans to visit with him at SCO's booth, #620, in the Exhibit Hall.
